this is a pleasant scene. The colours of the leaves are very nice. The thing is that they are pushed back by the large foreground that is not very visually attractive. I do think the framing is good, it's just the foreground is not very photogenic. On one hand it could be interpreted as a good juxtaposition: the weedy and bland contrasting the colourful and interesting. When I view it from within that context, I do appreciate the photo portraying nature the way it is. On the other hand, it could be viewed as a bland foreground that is distancing from the "joyful" background. Though the more I think about it, the more I stand behind the good juxtaposition interpretation. I guess that's the way life is, isn't it? We don't always get all the pretty things together, eh?
