You have a good process going on here. Not only is the foreground well processed but beyond the fence is a wonderful scene all brilliantly lit under a great sky...Well done

Thank you all for your kind comments. I took this before the snow came and I kept going back to it. I finally spent some time with it, cropped out some sky and did a bit of adjusting...actually quite a bit, to come up with this.

Best regards,

Dick

Great shot, Dick. The DOF is perfect. The detail from front to back is exceptional. 7/7 Great crisp shot, my friend. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Regards, Lawrence.

I really like this incongruous subject matter. Deciduous leaves on the beach isn't a scene that most people bump into! Nice work on the DoF, here, and in handling the exposure and post work well enough to keep detail in the similarly toned leaves and sand while also keeping those clouds under control. It's a fine line to walk there, that's for sure.

Draws the eye right through to the clouds. A very beautiful serene place Richard. Thank you for sharing. Have a good evening.

Thank you very much, Lawrence, Matt, Linh and Cynthia! Matt, I spent more time post processing this image than any prior to this. The difficult part was to keep the clouds looking reasonably real and at the same time have the correct foreground exposure. I learned quite a bit from working with this image. I really appreciate the support and input from all of you!

Best regards,

Dick

Wonderful lines where the eye is led on an autumn journey. There are no beaches close to where I live but I will be inspired the next time I encounter a scene like this. Merry Christmas (left a more extended greeting on your portfolio).

Thank you, Tony! And thanks for being an inspiration to me this past year! I read your advice to my wife and she, of course, agrees!

Happy Holidays!
