blue-olympus 0 Posted December 9, 2008 Great Winter's scene Richard...this makes me a little envious as we never seem to get snow in my part of England (South West) As I suspect to get the correct exposure for this type of shot is not easy, but you seem to have mad a great job of it...therefore congrats. rarmstrong 0 Posted December 9, 2008 Thank you, Keith! I almost didn't post this one, but I liked it's simplicity and the fact that this is really what Winter looks like where I live. The snow can be tricky to photograph. It's so bright that it usually requires an adjustment of exposure up +.7 or +1.0 stops to get it right. I can often do this in PP since I shoot everything RAW. dandem 1 Posted December 9, 2008 Perfect tones, Dick. Most times snow is very blue when photographed. You are an expert at photographing these type of scenes. Thank you, my friiend. Lawrence. Link to comment
cjtj50 0 Posted December 9, 2008 Beautiful scenic view you captured. I also like the old fence post in the FG. Very nice. Take care 6/6a Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted December 9, 2008 Thank you, Lawrence and Cynthia! It's wonderfully enjoyable to discover the simple beauty that exists right here in Upper Michigan and to be able to share it in a way that you enjoy. Warm regards, Dick Link to comment
