This is off of Hwy 395 near Bishop, California. This a west facing view

from a dirt road that leads to Cal Tech's Radio Observatory. Quite an

impressive site.

Well composed landscape with good lighting. I like your eastern sierra images, as I spent a lot of time exploring dirt roads in that area via dirt bike/4-wheel drive. The old salt tram just east of Lone pine in the Inyo mountains is well worth seeing. 7/7

Beautiful! This brings back such memories. It is close to and similar to the road into Saline Valley. If you are in the area or want to take another adventure, also try the road into Cerro Gordo. If you want to share the grief and joy... give me a call. Saline Valley (where Monte's salt tram used to get the salt) has natural hot springs with fairly natural people wearing ... natural nothingness.
