hopsage 0 Posted December 7, 2008 Gorgeous. Despite the iconic nature of sunrise on this mountain, I think this is the first sunrise shot I've ever seen. I'm especially taken with the reflection of the sun on the foreground rock. That much alone would make a beautiful abstract. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted December 8, 2008 Tony... Gorgeous scene and well worth the early rise... Mike Link to comment

thadley 14 Posted December 10, 2008 Diego, Glauco, Neil, Leslie: I thank you very much for your very generous 7/7 rating on this image. Warm regards on a very snowy day here in Montreal where everything is covered in white - it is exactly the opposite of what is in this image which was taken in Maine late in October 2008. ryourth 0 Posted December 18, 2008 Wonderfull image Tony. Have been staring & trying to determine why I feel so atracted to it.It imparts to me a sense of oneness, the rocks belong to the sun & the sun belongs to the rocks. Is this the world when our planet cooled, rocks & the sun.Well, it is that time of the year again, I wish for you & yours the best for the holiday season & more great images in the coming year.
