tonmestrom 4 Posted December 1, 2008 what appeals most to me here is the mere subtlety with which you handled this. In my book that would stand for a very very good. I mean, what tones, what composition, what light but it still needs to be brought together and worked out. Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted December 1, 2008 I'm a little confused! Did you mean that I still need to pull it all together or I did just that. Either way, thanks for your comment. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted December 1, 2008 sorry for me not being clear. What I wanted to say was it can all be there but it still needs to be brought together in a fine image like this. That you did. Link to comment

leo burkey 0 Posted December 3, 2008 The last in the Ryan Ranch ruin set from Joshua Tree National Park. My buddies Chris Harris, Ray Banfield and myself headed out to this ranch ruin around 4:30 PM and the sun was already nearing the horizon. Chris and I had scouted the area early in the day with the hopes of a good sunset image with Headstone Rock. Ryan Ranch was to be fill time while we waited for the setting sun. Well the Headstone image never materialized but some of our most exciting images came from this ruin. "The best laid plans of mice and men." Link to comment

kamush1664878711 0 Posted December 6, 2008 Great DOF and Dynamic range... I just wonder if there are any tricks to simplify the high dynamic range like in this photo?... Thanks for sharing... Regards... Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted December 6, 2008 No, the range of this image was easily contained within a single RAW image file. Thanks for your comment. Link to comment
