gritty yet inviting, with compelling lines and colors. i'm always drawn to the back alleys. the dark shape of the car works as a geometric contributor to the picture, but is slightly out of sinc in terms of being recognizable as a modern vehicle. i'd also consider a tighter crop on top, as the lighter building lifts the eye and slightly diminishes the pleasing 'cave' effect. cheers.

I missed this when you first posted it back in 2008 but it's a beauty. The softly glowing colors remind me of 16th century Dutch painting, perhaps Hieronymous Bosch but contemporary, of course, and without all the attendant wierdness.
