sideris 0 Posted November 30, 2008 I am not surprised with the quality of this image, I mean, it has your unmistakable signature. feelings, depth, soul, and the superlative technical quality. Precious. Link to comment
jerrymat 3 Posted November 30, 2008 Wonderful portrait! The color, the smile, her eyes, the slight tension in her fingers. My only wonder is what is the blue-green spot on the post, to the right of her necklace? Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted November 30, 2008 thanx for the encouraging feedback! the blue spot is a stub of paint that lies on the wooden log which is fixed between the mud walls of this princess' house. these people build their shelter from whatever discarded stuff they find anywhere. the bitterness that lies beneath thin cover of beauty is all about POVERTY and MISERY that comes with it and glooms some lives forever! this shy SMILE, i witnessed as triump of humanity among such cruelty of existance against which we are helpless! but still, we must conrtibute out positive bit to it! regards! cherlyn 1 Posted November 30, 2008 I like this well portrayed portrait without any pretentious. Realistic presentation of her in her natural surroundings. Her bright attire a good contrast to her dimmer surroundings. Link to comment

steve_lowther 0 Posted December 2, 2008 Gorgeous Image! Low key, and the pose fits very well. However, some of the clothing clashes with the key. Using the Elliptical Marquee Selection tool feathered at 60 pixels, I selected an oval and then selected the inverse. I used the Brightness/Contrast control to darken outside of the oval. I dodged the scleras (the whites of the eye) and the catch lights of the eye for extra "pop". I also added an edge treatment. If you don't find my suggestions helpful, then please send me an email and I will be happy to delete them for Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted November 27, 2009 Striking features, definitely need more shots to explore her beauty. Colors a bit weak and not very sharp. Looking at the tinge of light rays on her hair I would have taken her to another brighter location to give depth to her face. Such a unique find. Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted November 28, 2009 thanx for constructive comments and tips. i am sure you'd do much better in these circumstances, but it is not easy to ask these people to leave their abode and move according to photographers' wish! regards! Link to comment
