lesliejbng 0 Posted November 27, 2008 Happy Thanksgiving to you also! It warmed up and got up into the 40's a few days ago, dropped back down yesterday morning which presented the lovely frost.:) Enjoy your day, I need to check out your chess game:) Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!! warimages 0 Posted November 27, 2008 I like how you have composed the leaf itself, but I find the backround too distracting. The lighting is good, maybe next time place a black card behid the leaf to help with the backround. All the best AJ Link to comment
lesliejbng 0 Posted November 27, 2008 Thank you for taking the time to view and your advice I do appreciate. I never really thought about placing a background behind an object that I am photographing in nature. I could work on the background in PS though, I do think it would be a nice contrast to the subject of the photo. Best regards, Leslie :) Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted November 29, 2008 It isn't exactly a macro though, at the time it would have been! Nature picture! PDE Link to comment

dugstervision 0 Posted December 2, 2008 I like the color, texture and composition, but I think it would be better without the strong horizontal line that goes along the top border. (awkward) It's similar to photographing a forest scene and then having one of the predominant tree trunks close to the vertical border. BTW, you can also use Photoshop to darken and/or blur those strong background lines. Link to comment
