Church at night #22

The perspective distortion really works for the steeples. The inside lights give this is nice mood, too.

This LDS temple is a very prominent landmark, visible from the the

Interstate 5 on the outskirts of San Diego. I took several shots of

the temple at night and thought this one looked interesting because

it took on the appearance of a mirror image. The statue on the top

left is about the only thing that is not mirrored to the right. Even

many of the lights in the windows are a near exact match from left to

right.

A pleasing balance, though I'd like to have seen a *some* more detail in the large shadow area right in the middle of the image. A hint of detail would have created a greater sense of mystery, though the image is intriguing as it is.
