Blurred buds

I was playing with some of my fast standard lens. I found that most of them are not

very sharp at wide open aperture. However after looking at them for a few days on my

computer screen their softness appealed to me. So I decided to share them with you.

Sometimes softness in an image like this can be very effective...giving it a painterly effect which I think it does here. Very nice image. Thank you for sharing. While at first, you were disappointed in your photo, the more you looked at it, the more you appreciated the different quality of mood...I am the same way and sometimes the ones you don't think are up to par with what you had wanted or hoped for, others see completely differently so I am glad you shared this photograph. :)
