Julie, this composition is very nice. You could have -- and should have -- pulled a lot more dimension into the photo by improving the contrast, because the foreground and clouds need more depth. What I would do is take the color image and work these points before converting it, so there is a greater range of tones. It's worth it because you have a classic Manhattan scene.
