tsypkin 230 Posted November 24, 2008 I would appreciate your critique. Does the vertical white line in the background (glass door frame)ruin the photo? Link to comment
GerrySiegel 868 Posted November 24, 2008 I don't think so. It adds depth and contrast to the bare fence. as does the creeping foliage on the right lower right...nice eyes to match the foliage, this cat... Link to comment
tsypkin 230 Posted November 24, 2008 Gerry, Thanks. I noticed that the leaves and the cat's eyes are the same color only after I downloaded the photo to my computer. If one makes a lot of pictures, the probability is some of them will have interesting details in them! Link to comment
karenf 0 Posted November 26, 2008 i really like this mikhail. you might try cropping in tighter. maybe even as square format. just to see how it changes the image. i love the hues. thanks. Link to comment
allen_r1 0 Posted April 10, 2009 I really like this photo. I think it is PERFECT as is. The white strip is subtle enough to not be distracting and IMO adds visual interest. I love the leaves and how they accent the cats eyes. And I like the fact that it is slightly off center (a square crop would ruin that effect). Well done! Link to comment
tsypkin 230 Posted April 20, 2009 Thank you all! The cat still continues to hover and visit my backyard, to the irritation of our cat and dog. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted May 25, 2011 Beautiful image! You have done a great job capturing the intense green in the cats eyes; I love how the eye color is further intensified by the green leaves and the green in the background. Really nice detail, composition and light. Very well done and a very beautiful cat too! Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
