Beautiful painterly image, Liz! I see the remains of fall colors in the background... soon the trees will lose more leaves and they will become different, haunting subject to the photographers.

This is very nice, Liz. The James is one of my favorite rivers. How far upstream was this made?

Brad, oddly, this was taken early in November, before it's "supposed" to be so cold. When I go back there now, it's not beautiful like this, but beautiful in a different way.

 

Lannie, this capture is between the Hugenot Bridge area, and the Pony Pasture. I'm fascinated with this river; I can get totally lost while looking and photographing it. But it's deceptive, people die on it every year.

Wery nice colours and composition, I like this one, nice work.
