it's a very good photo that raises questions and in that sense it's layered. Most of all it's the way you present it in this kind of b&w that I find very appealing. Good job.

Hola Giuseppe. Not a friendly face, you were lucky to have a window between you and that beak. Very nice and strong portrait of that other animal world, you have given it its own personality with this good composition. Abrazos.

Guiseppe, he is looking at as, or we are looking at him !...;-))... it is an unusual photo, interesting how you have presented it, is it out of camera photo ,or manipulated... in any event a good one, as well as titled.

what to say? Thank you, really a big thank you for all your comments and ratings. This image is an "out of the camera" one, apart some tilting correction and the conversion in b/w with contrast enhancement (to get out those clouds in the background). I was walking on the shore of a small artificial lake in Rome (EUR area) when this nice chap came by in search of some food. We were divided by those bars and I decided to get a photo. I wanted a strong "portrait", so I decided for the low (actually very very low) pov, and the poor fellow kept on staring at me with that severe expression. This is the result. I am thinking about opening a new folder titled "Urban Wildlife", because I think this could be quite an interesting theme. Please excuse me if I posted this one under "fine art" category, but I was, and still am, dubious about which category these works belong. Thank you again, from me and my model, Giuseppe

Lovely capture! The angle, bars and expression really give this one loads of character! Nice tones and choice for b/w. Love the sky - looks just as dramatic as the duck's expression. Very well done! Thank you for sharing. :)
