Recently, I spent a small part of a day in New York City with ViP - remember Vi? In spite of being FROM New York State, I have very little hours clocked in the Big Apple. It was a fun day of walking and shooting architecture and having chinese food in Chinatown. We both commented over and over about the need for a WIDE angle lens in NYC! Your thoughts on this?

This is a very nice image with great perspective. I wonder what it would look like with a little closer cropping so that the graffiti shows in more detail. The perspective and graffiti are what this shots about, at least in my opinion.

I've never been to NYC, though I spent some time upstate; your photos almost make me want to leave the desert. I agree with Chris that the square crop is terrific and is the one to keep. Nice work.

i'm sure you are not surprised that i like the square crop :-)... the stuff on the right is totally not necessary to the image. good to see you posting new work!!!

Cool shot, Lou Ann. The crop works--brings up the graffiti nicely. I really have to get out more--who knew the tops of apartment buildings were such bastions of creativity?!! Well done. 6/6 All the best...Bill (Been back to the Buffalo area lately? I suspect their graffiti is still mostly at street-level.)
