pfranklin 0 Posted November 19, 2008 As always I appreciate your comment. :) I don't know the name of these falls, this is located off Mountain Loop Hwy in Washington State close to a small town named Verlot. We did shoot off the washed out road and this is a handheld shot. Maybe not a big deal to some but for me is not the norm, I usually shoot from a tripod. All the best, Pamela Link to comment
geu4king 2 Posted November 19, 2008 It is very hard, due to poor lighting to capture most falls (been working at it for a long time!).... However, you have Aced this one... Outstanding color, lighting and contrast, WELL Composed and VERY Beautiful!!! Stunning Work!!! Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted November 19, 2008 Excellent... and a beautiful shot. I'm most impressed with hand holding this and still having some movement in the water... Mike Link to comment

images_in_light_north_west 0 Posted November 20, 2008 Very nice composure and hand held wow, guess that 24-105 IS works well, the only thing I don't like is the branch overhanging the stream but we take what nature gives us, good PP also. Ross Link to comment
john van aarle 0 Posted November 20, 2008 Very beautiful shot with a perfect point of view the composition and sharpness are excellent! TFS. John Link to comment

celasun 0 Posted November 21, 2008 I ended up with blown highlights under similar conditions. The water is neither over-blurred nor frozen; just flowing "naturally" & beautiful... I just feel the shadow of the frame could have been a bit less... Regards, Link to comment
naturegirl99 0 Posted November 22, 2008 I handhold quite a lot (shhhhh, don't tell anyone), and this is really stunning for a handheld shot. Extremely sharp and still with some nice softness to the water. Link to comment
llgarcia 1 Posted November 22, 2008 I love the way you controlled the water flow quite differently from the mostly seen photos using slower shutter speed. Great composition and detail. Nicely done, Pamela. Lester Link to comment
