bentes_world 0 Posted November 18, 2008 People rushing home from work or from shopping - rushing because of the weather. Not a weather neither for people nor dogs to stay out in. Handheld from a car in the rush hour - not a weather for me too. Your opinion is welcome - whether you want to comment the weather or the picture Link to comment
sakke 0 Posted November 18, 2008 I can not help seeing this in an absurd light. The person has lost his/her head. The head is well in shade, but it might be difficult to see where the combination is heading;-) I think this is a great shot just because of this irrational and absurd feeling! Best regards, Sakke Link to comment
teresa.zafon 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Looking at this image it really gives me the sense of rushing and can feel the bad weather too. Great shot, Bente. I like it a lot. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted November 19, 2008 Bente; This is the sort of shot I wish I had taken. You have done terrific work of capturing the feeling of hurrying along. I can feel the speed. You've got just enough information to convey the scene and lots of ambiguity to lend an abstract bend to the composition. I like this very much. As for the weather it has been cold and dreary here for weeks now, such is November. Link to comment
milena_safrova 0 Posted November 19, 2008 The attractive image well conveys the feeling of bad weather and discomfort of being outside and the a bit nervous motion in the hurry to get home. The surreal light enhances the feeling. Good capture Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted November 19, 2008 Fantastic work. This encapsulates the feel of rushing through the rain, the world blurred and smudgy, as one winds home. Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted November 19, 2008 Hi Bente, I like very much this one, you are doing a new kind of style? And handhold from a driving car? Wow this gives a GREAT effect, I have to try this also. with love Els Link to comment
MichaelChang 12 Posted November 24, 2008 Nice one, Bente. I would have to agree with all above comments. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 30, 2008 Me, too - I like it. Enough detail you can tell what it is, but proper amount of blur to imply movement and bad weather. Link to comment
