single photos Manhattan Bridge from the Brooklyn side

You've got me beat. I've only been to thirty-eight states. Twelve more to go!

This is a lovely composition in so many respects. The vantage point is just fine and I like the inclusion of rock in the foreground. I used to live in Manhattan. I've always loved this bridge. The starbursts from the lights are so defined.

What I don't care for here is the color of the light -- very orange. I think it overpowers the shot, especially where it reflects in the water and along the highway. If you cut that back, I would say the photo would be faultless.

By the way, this would be fabulous in b/w, a real candidate for conversion.
