Hilo Bay

Looking through some older photos, and saw this one taken on a

perfect day in Hilo, Hawaii. Shot on Velvia slide film and using a

polarizer. Other than level adjustments to replicate the tones of the

slide, this image has had very little manipulation. It does one good to

know there are place like this out there. And I'm a sucker for blue.

Anyway, any thoughts, comments, etc., appreciated.

Glad to know that you did not play with hue and saturation here. In that sense it is truly a beautiful shot. Well composed. Velvia at its best! Looks like it is a wide angle lens, hence the horizon is a bit curved?

Thank you...and good eye: I was using a 28-80 zoom, and this probably ran to the wider end of the range.
