ashley_czarnik 0 Posted June 17, 2002 it seems that her eye and cheek are focused and her nose isant and it makes the pictures seem off to me. Maybe its just my veiwing from my computer though. I like the coloring Link to comment

james_willard 0 Posted June 20, 2002 The compasition is great. Love the depth of feild fall off from the eye to the nose. I Love it. Good job. I also love that you have to really look to see if it's a B&W sepia print or a color print. Link to comment
return_visit 0 Posted November 29, 2002 You show some amazing insight on you portraits. IMO I'd try and be a little more critical of some of the images you submit for ratings. This is the nicest one I've seen in this folder. Overall, this is your strongest area and your strength seems to lie in your willingness to take chances most photographers won't (getting locked into a formula for all their image creation.) Unfortunately, it appears the web site in general, kind of supports the pretty picture formula'd approach to the higher rated pictures. Try not to get caught in that, we all want praise with our art but most of us aren't really willing to venture out of the envelope. Keep up! Link to comment
