After Halloween

I doubt that this photo fits neatly into the "street" category, but it fits even less into others.

I would appreciate your critique. I suggest that you look at the larger version of the

image, if possible

Good composition, good scene. Watch the light: the light on the scarecrow on the left (your main subject) is not very good. You would want more light on the front. Here you can look for one that is better lit, wait till the light is right, (if possible) move the direction of the scarecrow to get it lit well, or bring in (a lot of )lighting equipment.

Thank you -- I feel the same way about the light in the lower left corner. The setting sun was from the left, and of course I didn't realize the impact until I looked at the photograph on my computer. Well, a useful lesson.

I like this picture - I think the light is good, and the composition is good too. A little more ground and a little less sky would have been better. Cheers, P.

I have improved the lighting using Capture NX 2. I hope it's better now.
