davidmccracken 2 Posted November 14, 2008 It is amazing what you will take photos of when you are bored. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment

lizweisiger 0 Posted November 14, 2008 I took a shot of a ceiling light once, and it turned out great! This is cool too, you should get bored more often. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 16, 2008 I'm assuming you shot this hand held, which makes it all the more interesting, in that you maintained the overall symmetry. And thank goodness you made it b&w! Oh...those little signs with the numbers on each side...are those aperture settings that traveling photographers can use as exposure guides? I like this. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted November 19, 2008 Rafal, It is not something I take very often. I have to agree B&W does work well with this type of image. Thanks. Osman, Thanks! Shayne, Thanks a lot. It's really just a snapshot. Liz, Yes! Sometimes I get so bored I am lazy to take any pictures. I really must get out of this habit. Jim, Most of my images are hand held but usually not taken at F44 or F45 and most definitely NOT F56 although f5.6 is occasionally used. Before you ask... I do rest on something. Thanks everyone. davidmccracken 2 Posted November 21, 2008 Thanks a lot. I had little control over the light. It is just a snapshot. Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted December 3, 2009 This is really a fantastic composition, by constraining the horizon to the lower part of the frame, not only have you give a great deal of importance to the ceiling structure, but also generated a nice balance between the hectic space, and the static structure above. Congratulations on a wonderful architectural image! Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted December 3, 2009 ...by the way, if this is what you do when you get bored, you should get bored more often ;) Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted December 7, 2009 I am often bored at airports. Often I am too bored (or is it lazy) to take the camera out the bag. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted July 9, 2010 Thanks again! I thought so too and that is why I took it. Link to comment
