bosshogg 4 Posted November 15, 2008 I'm not yet up to full speed on those "old shenanigans," as I've been ill, and had a number of things impinge upon my shananiganism. I'm doing the best I can and hope to get caught up sometime soon. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted November 15, 2008 Hope you're on the road to recovery. Nicely captured, here. I like the grittiness of the processing, rusty, but still keeping one eye perpetually open and alert. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 15, 2008 I know you're going to get some technical comments about over-exposure, etc. and I don't care. I think this is a raw, powerful and very satisfying compositionall abstract. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 16, 2008 Thanks. I'm on the mend, but it is taking way to long. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 16, 2008 I'm particularly pleased that you found it acceptable, as I could have done it a lot more "straight." I wanted to push the envelope a bit, and usually when I do that, it is not well received. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted November 16, 2008 It's like a painting representation/abstraction and that's why I like it...I am usually not a fan of pushing processing as you know (mainly because I like the life-slice status of photography), but here it clearly states what it is and you make it become a drawing.... bosshogg 4 Posted November 16, 2008 Thanks. Given all the good vehicle images on Pnet and elsewhere, it is easy to dismiss them as just one of many. That's why I tried to be a bit edgier with it. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted November 18, 2008 Take your time in recovering, we are not ready or willing to have you depart the scene this early. A great shot of an old friend. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 18, 2008 Well, I'm not the master of these old relics that you are, but I give it a shot (pun intended) every now and then. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 29, 2008 Lovely image, David. I like the composition and the scratched and weathered bumper. I wish you a steady and swift recovery. Happy New Year! Link to comment
