sumptee 0 Posted November 14, 2008 I think this is a great picture, but the black and white verision (IMHO) adds so much more to this picture. It give a sense of charater, and the expression is amazing. Still that be said, this is a wonderful portait either way. JS Link to comment
chris_panagiotidis 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Splendid portraiture of exhibition quality, Sreten. I know that this man has featured in a previously posted shot , wearing hat , in B&W. Both approaches are very strong and is statistically noticed that the one to be presented first is the one the others are compared to. Hence the B&W version is more favourable to majority of preferences, but I am an exception.I like this one more. I am particularly attracted by the unforced expression of the weathered man and the depth of his thoughts as your lens is unveiling his esoteric world. To contribute in a constructive comment , I would add that perhaps the tight framing is a bit suffocating; some space from above and right would five this gaze some space to travel. Very best of regards and warm congratulations. Chris Link to comment
