Moored Loch Awe

ian cameron

Loch Awe is small, festooned with islands and reeds and has a limited but very fine collection of wooden fishing boats pulled up along its shore. The blue boat has long been a favourite of mine and unsurprisingly got photographed yet again but on this occasion I was also blessed with a great reflection and two varnished wooden boats to juxtapose against the still water and the curled green reeds.NEW!! Excellent colours and light, very well chosen composition. super picture, the contrast of the new vanished boats with the weathered pier adds to the fine scenery.

Ian, this is not the best sky I've seen you produce but the rest of the image is good. Perhaps a crop from the top is in order?

Good shot, the boats are inviting, makes me want to climb in one and go fishing.

Isn't is amazing how such a simple shot can evoke such pleasure.
