This image is haunting in its elegance.

My suggestion is to vignette it. This rendition was vignetted using the Elliptical Marquee Selection Tool feathered at 60 pixels, beginning with a simple oval and adding some smaller ovals at the top. It was then inverse selected, and the Brightness/Contrast control was adjusted to give it depth on the sides and a little more pronounced diagonal composition.
