Les, I really wanted to bring out all the different lines and textures in this.It looked like a busy universe of past activty to me. I think you are right though, I probably did over-dodge & burn. I like the strong contrast and I think you did a very admirable job of framing the shot. There may be a few dust spots on the lens that are showing up in the sky.

Never mind about the dust spots. Upon viewing the shot larger I see that is not the case. Nice work!

Very nice perspective. Excellent job with the tones, composition and DOF. This photo really stands out.

Beautiful lighting, perspective, and a great sense of depth. The foreground grasses are particularly nicely and delicately handled and provide a great foil to the more dramatic and bold aspects of the photo.

A very well composed sort of 'nature-architectural' capture!
