The slow shutter leaves the water looking like clouds and the rocks appear to be floating in the sky. Stopping the lens all the way down sure does make those dust spots on the sensor jump out at you. Those four or five big ones might warrant some cloning if you ever go to print this one.

I actually thought it was Chevrolet rock (built like a rock ya know), but I commented anyway. Lovely subtle colors, and textures. Nice work Tim.

All the best,

Neil

Thanks for the comments you guys! Gordon, I thought the D300 was supposed to shake and bake those dust bunnies off the sensor. Maybe I should read the manual and see what switch your'e supposed to hit to do it.

My 40 D is also supposed to be a bunny shedder but alas, in the case of the 40 D at any rate, it is appears to be more of a marketing ploy than an actual solution.Mind you... I too need to give the manual a more thorough read. I recall having read something about, dust delete data attachment settings, to allow software to remove those bunnies automatically in PP. Recently I picked up a couple of 1.2 ND filters for slow shutter work. at f 8 or more you need a pretty darn big bunny to show up on your images.
