peter_langfelder 3 Posted June 15, 2002 I think the framing is good, but eiher the light was too bright or you clicked the shutter not in the best moment - the eyes came out more like two narrow slits. I would perhaps make the print a bit darker so one can see more shape in her face, and maybe burn in the bright blobs in the background a little to make them less distracting. Link to comment
hexenwolfe 0 Posted June 15, 2002 You can seldom go wrong by getting closer to a subject. Portraits often benefit by close work. This is a nicely framed portrait. The model is to the weak side of the frame, but is looking into the picture. Both eyes are visible (or would be if they were open)and in focus. The face is framed nicely by the hair, and the background is out of focus enough not to distract. It is way too bad that the exposure is off, and the model has her eyes closed. Better luck next time.
