I went into phase where I like blurry shots with my lens at 2.8... most of the time it doesnt work... but I get alot of good comments about this one... let em know what you think please...

All I can really say is I like it! The elements work and most of all it's just a sweet scene.

You should get good comments about this -- it's good and complex and contrasting. Don't like his shirt collar being so sharp.

Good capture of her eyes and expression

The thumbnail didn't look that promising, but the full-sized photo turned out to be great. The contrast of dark and light, as well as blurry and sharp, really works. Perhaps you could make the collar blurry in PS to emphasize the contrast.

 

This is really a very special picture.
