Spider Rock

I waited almost 2 1/2 hours until the sun was completely set to take this image in order to eliminate strong distracting shadows. It was a long exposure. This is a RAW image that I slightly enhanced for contrast and saturation in Photoshop CS2 - no major changes were made.

I took this image after the sun had completely set to eliminate harsh distracting

shadows. We waited over two hours for the sun to get below the horizon.

Well worth the wait; the effect you wanted (or the effect you wanted to avoid) was achieved and resulted in a very pleasing image.

For those who favour landscapes on the grand scale, this is a winner. The perspective is great & also unusual, you rarely see the floor of the canyon & am always impressed with the beautiful pastels of your southern states. Larry, this is really a first class image if it was mine it would be framed & hung in a premier spot to be admired, it is a visual pleasure to be enjoyed. Very well done. best Regards-Ross
