Squeteague Harbor, North Falmouth (MA)

Pnina and I have been shooting on Cape Cod for a few days. This is Squeteague

Harbor on a chill November afternoon.

Great color. The yellow marsh and the mottled sky make for a wonderful combination.

It's like an exquisite painting Dennis.

There's nothing like the seasons in New England. This scene would standout at any time of year, but this is striking with the past fall colors and the still reflection.

I was sure that Massachusetts is a place where great friends can meet and that I could find some of them here.Hello friends!How you're doing there in the colonies?Why don't you raise your glasses?I ve'got a bottle of real Sangria beside me!

...looks like gorgeous coutryside up there, with the fall colors presaging winter. Now I feel even more sorry I couldn't make it. Hope you had a great weekend with Pnina and other PN friends. Cheers! RickDB

I know that spot! I did not start post processing yet,but I already know that yours is better than my version! especially the sky ,...LOL!

 

I loved Cape Cod, I loved getting to know you both, was happy to be with you! Loved the reunion in Boston.

Photis and Rick, it was a celebration! you already know it, but Dennis is a multi skilled person!

... she was such a spark of life here on the Cape. Everywhere she went, people came up to her to talk to her, to show her around. One fellow even stopped his car, got out, and offered to take her picture! Go figure! Even the squirrels (pronounced "sqwoirels" :) cooperated. Thanks to all who participated in her party, and thank you, Pnina, for coming to visit.

As long as you are there Cape Cod is not lonely! I wish geographical distances were not 12 hours flight ( uffff).... I Wish my squirrle will be successful... I'm not there yet... ;-))

Beautiful color against that perfectly rendered sky in which you've captured the subtle tones magnificently. I love the little house off in the distance, it adds a human element to the scene. My only suggestion is to clone/crop out the small piece of stone at the bottom of the frame. Great stuff Dennis, hope all is well!

Tim, wonderful fall colors in the shot, and you are probably right about cropping out the rock. Pnina took a shot from the same spot, am anxious to see what she captured!
