marcadamus 1 Posted November 3, 2008 This is Emperor Falls, in Mount Robson park, BC. Very slippery, extremely difficult shot to get with freezing spray being blown into the lens! I liked the separation the emerging light gave to the frozen foreground pine. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 4, 2008 Very nice shot , like the mist given off by the water and the ice , sun looks nice with the prism ,,( filter ? ) ....another beautiful Image ... Link to comment
mario2 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Perhaps need a little touch to decrease a little bit this blue dominant on ice. Good work under not easy weather/ light conditions Link to comment
stuart_williams 0 Posted November 5, 2008 i find it odd but interesting that this has commanded fewer comments than your work usually does. in part, i find it odd because i like this with its palette (i believe the blue is spot on), the scale derived from the trees in the background (similar to a relatively recent michael anderson waterfall photo with scale derived in the same way), the touches of warm light in the icicles, the movement and much more besides. perhaps a tiny bit more sky would have been warranted but then we might see more of the (slightly distracting) cloud that's peeking in. vincentfavre 2 Posted June 23, 2009 Technically perfect. I'm not sure for the compo, but you didn't have the choice, I assume. Link to comment
