What a fantastic shot! More importantly, it is truly one of your best black and whites. The conversion is just superb. You have pushed the highlights to the point where the light just glows; and you have the full range of tones below (i.e., pure black to pure white). Excellent composition too. This just went into my "Favorites." Cheers! Chris

 

BTW, Deb, I think if we have a good wet winter we'll be taking you to Death Valley for the wildflower bloom, and the most fabulous landscapes in the world. You'll get to spend time with the "Three Amigos," Leo Burkey, Ray Banfield, and I. I am thinking we may need to expand the group to the Four Amigos, with the addition of Deb Cloud! I could not be more thrilled! Chris

I must agree with Chris on this one Deb, your range of tones in all inclusive and well controlled. A great photograph that also shows off your processing skills. By the way, there is a long written exam for entrance into the Fraternal Order of the Amigos and you must laugh at all our jokes.
