celasun 0 Posted November 1, 2008 A beautiful and, for some reason, familiar face. Looks like a nice person. I wonder how you manage to prevent her eyes' becoming too dark... Regards, Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted November 2, 2008 Thank you for comments. Bulent, I do not understand the question about her eyes. Do mean the eye sockets because of the shade of her cap? Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted November 2, 2008 Yes! Because when I try to expose properly for those shadows, I get blown highlights at other places. Post processing to lighten those same areas does not produce the same result as a perfect exposure. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted November 3, 2008 The photo was taken when the sun was behind a cloud and the light was diffuse so there were no real shadow. Because of contrast and "washout" I almost never shoot in bright sunlight...even if the bright sun is only in the background. I also walk on the shaddy side of the street -always. Still with her cap on you might expect dark area. Lucky I guess. Link to comment
