Thank you for comments. Bulent, I do not understand the question about her eyes. Do mean the eye sockets because of the shade of her cap?

Yes! Because when I try to expose properly for those shadows, I get blown highlights at other places. Post processing to lighten those same areas does not produce the same result as a perfect exposure.

The photo was taken when the sun was behind a cloud and the light was diffuse so there were no real shadow. Because of contrast and "washout" I almost never shoot in bright sunlight...even if the bright sun is only in the background. I also walk on the shaddy side of the street -always. Still with her cap on you might expect dark area. Lucky I guess.

 

I like so much. It is very candid and telling image. I almost can feel that girl. Congratulation.
