celasun 0 Posted November 5, 2008 Thank you Cristian for your rewarding comment about this photo. This is normally part of a busy street. I happened to be there as a visitor during a vacation... Link to comment
alight 0 Posted December 15, 2008 a splash of high-tech amidst the 19th (or older?) century. What makes the image to my eyes is the combination of the lush green plants, the battered buildings and the lonely moped. Do people actually live in these houses? Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted December 20, 2008 After browsing around concluded that you live in Turkey (??). This photo does not look like Turkey to me or maybe Turkey is not like the mideast. I like that new photo of you on the rocks. It is great....turkey... ah I see comment above "vacation". Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted December 20, 2008 Thank you for commenting on this photo. The place is Kirklareli, a small city at North-West Turkey (The Thrace). People do live in and around this small street except for the upper part of the yellow building... This photo was taken during a national holiday when all the shops were closed and most people were visiting the cemeteries and/or their elders... Meir the photo you mentioned was taken at Inceburun, Sinop; the most northern point of the country at Black Sea coast... Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted December 21, 2008 Now I know that Turkey has trees. Israel has rocks. Link to comment

celasun 0 Posted June 11, 2009 ...for visiting and commenting. I have declined to visit a nearby historical mosque (with the group) when I noticed this scene and remained there to take photos. I am happy that I did likewise :) Link to comment
hagar 7,462 Posted September 21, 2009 I'm happy you did too.. it's a very nostalgic scene. Reminds me of some little villages in Lebanon where I grew up. Link to comment
