jeff.grant 0 Posted October 28, 2008 Liz, this has great colours, shadows and light but I wonder if you could have got separation of the poles by stepping to the left a little. If you had then it might be worth cropping some of the RHS. Here is what I mean by separation, not a brilliant example but ... http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3899965 Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted October 28, 2008 Jeff, I like your suggestion. Unfortunately, I was unable to see the image you uploaded. I think I will go back to this place and reshoot. This image was actually made awhile ago when I was just starting out. Thank you again for taking the time to help me out. Link to comment
thadley 14 Posted October 28, 2008 Great graphical design - love it. I also like the light. The image looks like it was taken with a telephoto which compreses distance and I would prefer a 'non-compressed' image. This would mean using less zoom (wide angle) and also taking Jeff's recommendation under consideration. Please don't interpret all these comments to mean it is not a good photo - just artistic meanderings. Link to comment
