great emotional photo. your effect is well to. b&w is good choice but I want to see colour version..

Compositionally it is a very sound image. It is also exposed well. If I was to fault it, I would say that the added texture may be a little too much for my taste, but each to their own. If you squint the texture goes away, and it becomes a wonderful image :) Well done.

I don't care for the texturing effect myself, but this is a gorgeous composition: lighting, tones, and beautiful little feet. Wonderful.
