Perfect light!

A very balanced shot Kim. I like the golden tone.

Taken this morning during sunrise. Even though the horizon is very

centered in the frame, I thought the position of the boat would

counteract that. Comments welcome - thanks!

Rules schmules... centered horizons can't always be bad! Nice shot, colors, focus.

I think the horizon is fine -- the boat does give extra weight to the lower half. I think it would also be fine if you cropped a bit off the bottom, thereby concentrating the viewer's eyes on the boat and birds even more (at the expense of a bit of context).

Like so much scene like this :) warm sunset light looks wonderful...
