What do you think about the crop? Should I have cropped to leave only

half of the log? Thanks for looking!

I do think it would be a more interesting photo if you had cropped the top space and top part of the log. The log would then act almost as a ceiling and frame. My attention is brought more to the falls and the pool whereas, as is, my eye wants to wander above the log and there's not much reward up there. It seems like you get more focus on the falls by cropping some off the top.

Thanks for looking. I was toying around with the crop and cropping half the log was one that I tried. I will do it again and post it. I agree that it will create a natural frame.
