The Temple

This temple is one of the more "purist" buddhist temples in Taichung.

They shun the trends of modern buddhism. Advice and critique welcome.

This is truly beautiful in b/w, especially when viewed larger. You've retained a lot of details on the underside of the roofline. The light on the leaves of the tress is really nice as well. This is why I love b/w and never, ever tire of it. It's so soulful! You couldn't ever get the same feeling from color. I understand that color has its place, but you made the right choice to convert this one.

 

The only thing, Garry, is that you cropped off the corner of the roof. I really wish you had included that.
