Waning moon over Frenchman's Bay

Well after sunset this waning gibbous moon is seen rising over the

Porcupine Islands in Frenchman's Bay, Bar Harbor, Maine.

I usually put my photos in as 8 X 5 inches.

Composition was tough. It was quite dark when the moon rose so getting the focus on the ship was hard in the dark. Also, I didn't know where the moon would be rising so as to get the composition right. When the moon finally made its appearance I had to rush around to re-compose and then re-focus on the boat but now it was even darker so I had to guess at the focus. But I had lots of fun.
