Very nice work... ancient strength and wisdom.

I think this photo has great potential ... I mean much more potential.

I love the cropp and the beautifull light, just enough to make some mystery and treath, but revealing his personality.

First I would like it would have some greater DOF to include the second eye ... but this can't be corrected.

I think it would be a serious improvement if the flare in the eye could be corrected somehow

I believe it's a "rule of portraiture" (animal or human) that if both eyes (even eye-lashes in a profile shot) are visible, they both "must" (should) be in focus. In this image, having the far eye so soft detracts from the impact and power of the composition.
