Landrum Kelly 64 Posted October 22, 2008 Beautifully done, Liz. The texture is there, but it looks almost velvety. --Lannie Link to comment

DavidRabinowitz 8 Posted October 23, 2008 Liz, are you referring to Andrez Dragan...i've been trying to figure out what he does for years...i think he sells his method to those interested but it was all the rage a while back...have you tried this on portraits...this flower fills the frame well and has good shadow and light...regards....David Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted October 24, 2008 Jeffrey, you are right, it could be a card. Thank you for the kind words. Maurizio, I love "Bellissima". Thank you for that. Chan, originally, this image was captured in natural light. I'm playing with a technique called "Dragan", to see how else I can present the flower. David, when I came across Dragan's work, it intrigued me to the point where I'm practicing it with layers, masks etc. I like how the technique makes an image more dramatic. It is hard to perfect, though. I have tried it on portraits, but I can't seem to manage it very well. Anyway, I appreciate you stopping by to comment. Link to comment
