The architectural richness of the city never ceases to amaze me. It was

Henny Youngman who said that BART is the subway that doesn't go

anywhere you want to go, or something in that vein. Yet, it remains the

backbone of the City. What is less appreciated is the aesthetic beauty

of some of the stations. On Sunday, I was on my way to meet a client,

but stopped off to record this image. It is an HDR blend of three

bracketed exposures of the same image, allowing for a tonal range

rarely possible with a single shot in a scene with a wide tonal range.

Thanks for your time, as usual.

This is very good. I have an experience of "BART" in Oakland,California.

Was in a hurry,no time to snap a picture or 2. Afraid got lost from my

company and feard I do not know how to manuver around it.

It's good too there were no people around here.

I was always struck with how BART stations are so different from the "T" in Boston. I absolutely loved riding the BART. I always felt so modern and clean when I did. I'd park in some nether town on 80 and ride into the city. It was a lot of fun. The "T" is a different experience entirely.

Look at the lines here. They are like tractor beams pulling the eye through the scene. This is a photo I can step into and identify.

I like the geometry, light and tone...a very nice architecture image Emmanuel....the roof line lead the eyes into the scene and create depth....the blend of exposure is really nice since you get a balanced illumination feeling across the image and on the other side I don't feel the HDR technique too much which I think is too agressively present in most HDR image I often see...
