The was a quick grap shot while I was standing on road side. What I want to show is how the high ISO capability on the Nikon D3 and D700 changes the way I photograph. In this case I chose ISO 1600, which is fast enough that I managed to stop the lens down to f5.6 for more depth of field and generally better optical quality. A 1/30 shutter speed is fast enough for hand holding and some subject movement. The 28-70mm/f2.8 AF-S zoom was set around 30mm.
