The aging and almighty Bristlecone Pine -- all that they endure, surviving

the harsh changes of the seasons, high winds, low and high

temperatures -- and standing tall through it all. Within the branches that

have fallen, I noticed a small branch standing strong and seeming to

have a life of its own. I used a sepia effect to respect the age of the

character of this great tree. A color version has also been posted.
