rasmuslindersson 0 Posted October 17, 2008 Oh, you can't give a woman that much to choose from, she will never get ready to go out :-) I gotta say your models facial expression is excellent, and the photo is well set up and composed. This photo put a smile on my face, thank you! /Rasmus Link to comment
je ne regrette rien 67 Posted October 17, 2008 Wonderful! What I particularly like is: - the general idea; - her expression; - the set up, and - the shoes. what about showing her feet? Link to comment
nestor 0 Posted October 18, 2008 Great idea! I really like the colors the shoes add to the pic. If I'd change something it would be to include the entire shoes and show her feet.Cheers!Nestor Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 18, 2008 Rasmus, I am glad it made you smile. Most of the time that is what I am trying to achieve. I can't take the credit for this idea. It was the model who suggested this and I feel she acted out the part very well. Luca, I can't argue about the feet. I do have others with the feet showing but this was the model's favourite. Thanks. Nestor, Thanks! Your points are noted. I do have versions with the feet. I will have to check if I have versions with all the shoes. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted October 19, 2008 Imalda Marcus would have been glad to pose instead... Funny, she probably thinks which pair she needs for this pose....;-)) well done. Link to comment
Elstad 3 Posted October 19, 2008 Ah, the eternal quandry... 'What shall I cook for dinner'? Fun David... r. Link to comment
Lacerda 0 Posted October 19, 2008 Very smart and original composition, it is all in. we have a a perfect scenario, a beautiful women with a professional expression for the camera, different vivid colors and to finish it a smart title matching with the picture, I don't know if the system will allow me to give 7/7 but that is what this picture deserve. All the best to you. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 20, 2008 Pnina, The name Imelda did come to mind when taking this photograph. Great minds think alike. Raymond, The answer is chicken. Thanks! Joao, I am glad that you like this image. Most of the credit does go to the model. I was just lucky enough to take it. Thanks everyone. Link to comment
elisabetta moschetto 0 Posted October 23, 2008 I know that kind of "problem" and some years ago I took a shot about that subject, too (but just with two pairs of shoes!) I like very much the way she played the role and your composition. Great shot David. Eli Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 23, 2008 Thanks Elisabetta. I think many all women have this problem. Link to comment
thomas_collins1 0 Posted October 24, 2008 Obviously nothing is suitable in this line-up. Where are the $600 Italian-made stilettos? Only the very finest for this lady! :-) Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 25, 2008 Thanks Thomas. Yes this lady likes th best of everything... that's why she got me to photograph her. You believe me don't you? Link to comment
andrzejp 6 Posted July 11, 2010 I totally disagree with Rasmus. This picture is an image of a true tragedy. This deprived woman has only so few shoes to choose from and that’s why she is devastated. Women can never have enough shoes or purses.SPLENDID. Good sense of humor. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted July 12, 2010 How right you are... unfortunately! Thanks for stopping by. Link to comment
