Sunrise over Southwest Harbor

Taken from the public pier.

Gorgeous!

Nice shot. To my eye, the horizon looks very crooked, with the harbor sloping from right to left. I think the shot may have been more effective with a longer lens, maybe 200 or so, to make the sun look bigger and isolate the more interesting parts of the composition.

nice color i think i would like a more rectangular crop as apposed to the more square crop. but i do like this.

I like the quietness of this picture. And the red too. I think this is your best folder.

I have two remarks. Many of your pictures from other folders suffer of an exaggerated blue, cyan or magenta cast. Try to adjust your monitor when preparing them for upload. The second, compress your pictures less or make them a bit larger.

To a fellow fan of sunsets and sunrises, I really like the colors in this one and your others in this folder. The sailboats definitely ad interest to this one.

Nice colors and composition. I liked the proportion you let between sea and sky. It pass a felling of amplitude.
